05 Troll Ski Resort

Leave the crowds behind and enjoy the fresh mountain air and wide open runs at Troll Ski Resort. The powder is light and the weather is fine at Troll, a great hill for skiers of all ages and levels. If you like to ski a fun hill with groomed runs and a gorgeous view, Troll is for you. Or, if you want to challenge yourself in untracked powder, check out the rest of the mountain – we think you’ll be glad you came.

The season started early this year, and the young-at-heart of all ages are enjoying a lovely soft pack of snow. While most of our runs are for intermediate skiers, there is a great teaching/beginner area, and a few black diamond runs as well. The runs are long, with great fall lines. The snow is 100% natural, and there’s lots of it! We provide expert instruction and have all the latest ski and snowboard equipment for rent.

Enjoy our family-run hill between Quesnel and Barkerville, just south of Prince George. Our Resort was built by Lars Fossberg in 1972, and 30 years later it has developed into a great mountain, with 4 surface lifts (click here for information on our lifts) and 1700 vertical feet of terrain.

The slopes at Troll are South facing, offering beautiful views of the valley and bright sunny skiing. The day lodge is a big rustic log building with a large cozy fireplace, almost as warm and friendly as the staff and locals!

For your next ski holiday, enjoy the open spaces, clean air, and friendly people at Troll, where the focus is on fun, not fashion. Call (250) 994-3200 for information; click here for our snow report; click here for today’s events; click here for information on the New Troll Ski Bus!
